Breaking News...... We now offer a tow, hire & drive option. Planning a trip to any of Victoria's lakes or rivers? If you hold a current boat licence you can pick up a boat and take it with you. From Lake Corangamite in the south, to Lake Dartmouth in the north and all inland waters in between, make your next fishing trip one to remember by getting out onto the water in one of our hire boats. The boats can be picked up at our site in Bonnie Doon or from Melbourne. Bait & Fishing Licences available
Hire a boat to explore Lake Eildon. Victoria's largest inland lake with over 500 km's of shoreline is the perfect place to drop a line or take a leisurely cruise. From Bonnie Doon in the north, to Jamieson in the south, you will find an abundance of freshwater species to target including brown and rainbow trout, yellow-belly, redfin and Murray cod. You can hire a boat for a couple of hours, half a day or a full day, the choice is yours. We also have fishing rods and reels for hire or purchase, and Jeff will advise you on where the fish are biting and what bait and tackle to use to give you the best chance of catching the one that doesn't get away. Don't forget to bring your camera!
If fishing isn't your thing, you can hire a boat, cruise to a quiet inlet, unpack the picnic basket, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Or you can grab a map and experience the lake area from the best vantage point - the water. Keep an eye out for the tip of Mt Buller peering over the surrounding hills.
